There Is No Conflict explores identity and violence through double self-portraiture in a series of related videos and drawings. In my studio, I choreograph and perform fights for the camera dressed as the fictional adversaries Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. I use video compositing and drawing to combine the two costumed versions of myself to play both characters simultaneously.
