The Artist-in-Residence program at the Rochester Public Library hosts a different local artist each month to offer the community a new visual arts experience in the Library's MakerSpace located on the second floor. In April, Chris Rackley is the Artist in Residence and he will facilitate the creation of a 4-foot by 13-foot collage depicting a futuristic ideal city on Mars called Neo-Rochester.

Solo exhibition including recent paintings and video contraptions that explore notions of origins, the allure of the frontier, and the need to escape by presenting fictional spaces, inspired by recent missions to asteroids and comets, as fragments of sci-fi film sets that visitors can enter.
